Day 3:  Taroudant – Taliouine – Tazenakht – Agdz – Zagora

You'll begin your journey at Taliouine, a little village famous for its saffron production, which is highly acclaimed even outside Morocco's borders. A visit to the saffron cooperative, if desired, will give you with information about its production and qualities. Then it's on to Tazenakht, which is famous for its carpets. Even if you don't intend to buy anything, we encourage browsing through the stores and enjoying the local craftsmanship. You will then arrive in Agdz in the Draa Valley. Lunch will be given at Tamnougalte, a very ancient city that served as the setting for the film "The Sheltering Sky." Some families, with the help of European NGOs, are attempting to preserve a way of life there. The restaurant is located in one of these renovated ancient houses, which has been converted into a tiny museum.
