Day 1: MARRAKECH/OUARZAZATE/ZAGORA

Travel by vehicle or minibus from Marrakech to Ouarzazate in the morning, using the Tizi-n-Tichka pass route (2,260 m) across the At Ourir and Taddert plains. The crimson and black mountains with clear streams at their feet, endless snow, terraced gardens, red adobe communities clinging to the mountainsides, the people... Several stops along the journey to take in the breathtaking scenery. In Ouarzazate, you're on your own for lunch. Cross the Tizi-n-Tinifift pass to Agdz, the Draa Valley's beginning point. Explore this breathtaking valley, complete with adobe settlements, old kasbahs, and hundreds of date palm trees. A true joy! Continue on to the walled towns and the Zagora Oasis. Dinner and stay at Zagora's 4* Ksar Tinsouline Hotel.

Day 2: ZAGORA / M'HAMID / CHEGAGA DUNES

Explore Zagora in the morning, followed by lunch on your own in Zagora. At approximately 2:00 PM, depart in a 4x4 from Zagora, following the historic caravan trail that connects Zagora with ALFAYJA via the Bani Mountains. You will drive through the historic casbah of Nesrat in southern Morocco before arriving at Mhamid, the final settlement before the huge Sahara. Mhamid is a camel market and a crossroads from which caravans embark toward Timbuktu. After driving on the regs and hamadas, you will arrive at the sacred oasis of Oumlalag to refresh yourself with its spring, and then proceed directly to Chegaga. 

Day 3: CHEGAGA / ZAGORA / OUARZAZATE

Return to Zagora via the main road and the village of M'hamid, stopping at the pottery cooperative, the subterranean casbah, and the Tamegroute Quranic school. In Zagora, you're on your own for lunch. Choose your car or minibus. Continue to Ouarzazate for supper and lodging at the Oscar 3* hotel or something similar.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE/MARRAKECH

Return to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou after breakfast.
